Since October 2005, Guido Heumer is working as research scientist at the University of Technology "Bergakademie" Freiberg in the Virtual Reality Group led by Prof. Bernhard Jung. Before that, he was employed at the International School for New Media (ISNM) in Lübeck. His work is related to the project "Virtual Workers" and mainly encopasses the areas of grasp recognition and grasp analysis. Other research projects, he was involved in, were "Virtuelle Werkstatt" (DFG, finished in October 2004) and Cody (Concept Dynamics). His fields of interest include Pervasive Gaming, Virtual Reality, Human Computer Interaction, and Computer Graphics. |
